Start with fresh Italian coffee, or from our selection of teas & infusions, before tucking into fresh fruits, cereals, yoghurts & juices. Or perhaps a sumptuously sticky danish pastry, mini muffin, buttery croissant or toast with lashings of Cornish butter and Mrs P’s homemade jams & marmalade. You’ll soon find yourself coming back for more! In the evening, choose from our seasonal A La Carte Menu including our signature Grill section served up from our “Wood Charcoal Oven” as well as our 3 course set menu which changes daily. Offering the freshest of local Cornish produce, Head Chef, Keith Brooksbank, and his brigade provide a varied menu of classic and seasonal dishes using the finest, freshest, Cornish ingredients.
Whether you fancy a classic fish & chips, or our fabulous Chateaubriand for 2 carved at the table – there’s something for every taste. Make sure you leave room for Dessert though – devilishly decadent, they’re not for the faint hearted!

Hans Sloane Hot Chocolate
Sir Hans Sloane (1660 – 1753) was Physician to King George 1. In 1687 Sloane travelled to the Caribbean, as the physician to the Duke of Albemarle, on a trip funded by the King to find some Spanish Gold. On this trip, whilst exploring the flora and fauna of the island of Jamaica, he tried the local cocoa & water drink for the first time, he found it nauseating.
Sloane decided to invent a recipe to improve the taste, and after many variations, he tried mixing it with milk and sugar. On his return Sloane developed his recipe and Sir Hans Sloane Milk Chocolate was born…
