At Penventon Park Hotel, we are committed to offering a welcoming experience for all guests. Our hotel is located within a historic Georgian manor, and while this gives us a unique charm, it also brings certain architectural limitations that may pose challenges for accessibility. We are constantly exploring ways to enhance our facilities to better meet the needs of all our guests, within the constraints of our building’s heritage.

Physical Accessibility

We have disabled parking right outside the front of the hotel.

Due to the design of our Georgian manor hotel, all bedrooms are located on the upper floors and can only be accessed by stairs. Additionally, while a few rooms feature walk-in showers, they have a lip to step over, and most bathrooms have showers over baths, without additional handrails.

Our Leisure Club and Spa Treatment Rooms are also located on different levels, requiring guests to navigate stairs to reach these areas. However, our public areas, including the restaurant, bar, lounge, and accessible restrooms, are wheelchair-friendly and located on our main level. We have a ramp at the front entrance to ease access to these spaces, providing an inclusive environment for dining and relaxation.

We understand that these limitations may not fully meet every guest’s needs, and we welcome you to contact us so we can discuss any specific requirements and help make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Visual and Hearing Accessibility

To support guests with hearing or vision impairments, our fire alarms are equipped with flashing signals. In the event of an emergency, our team is trained to visit any guest rooms where individuals may require additional assistance.

While our general policy allows pets within the hotel, our restaurant is not animal friendly, but we will accommodate service animals upon request. Please let us know in advance so we can prepare for your arrival.

We’re committed to providing a more accessible online experience for all our visitors. We’ve integrated the One Click Accessibility plugin into our website, which allows users to customise their browsing experience to meet individual needs.
