Camborne Show 2016

A celebration of nearby Camborne's rural heritage. Enjoy a day for all the family complete with Show Jumping, Heavy Horse Show, fun Pet Dog Show, animals, Food and Refreshment Stalls, Children's Activities and Bouncy Castle.

Culdrose Air Day 2016

This fantastic annual event lets you see behind the scenes of of Cornwall's Culdrose Fleet Air Arm and experience first hand, a working military Naval Air Station. Home to a variety of military aircraft including Merlin and Sea King helicopters, Hawk Jets and King Air 350 Avengers.

Marvel at aerobatic display teams flying fast jets and helicopters performing exhilarating flying displays. You'll be blown away!

There's also lots to do on the ground such as a chance to meet the heroic Aircrew who fly helicopters around the world and see state-of-the art aircraft up close.

Symphony by the Sea

Inspired by the last night of the Proms with the added bonus of the spectacular backdrop of Lusty Glaze beach!

Visit this all weather event and lap up some of the most popular classics performed on the beach by the Cornish Sinfonia Orchestra, topped off with a superb cliff top firework display.

Cornish Steam & Country Fair

This annual event a Stithians showground includes a fantastic range of Steam Engines, Fun Fair, Vintage Vehicles, Model and Craft displays and much more to entertain the whole family.

Cornwall Pride 2016

The UK's longest rainbow flag flows through Truro City for Cornwall Pride festival. The celebration includes a parade through the city, picnic in the park and party in the park for over 18's in the evening.

Newlyn Fish Festival

A celebration of Cornish fish in Britain’s premier fishing port. Enjoy fantastic seafood whilst helping to raise money for the Royal National Mission to Deep Sea Fishermen. There's a huge display of fresh fish, live cookery demos by top local chefs, live music, lots of boats, gigs, fishing boats, lifeboats and jet skis, arts and crafts galore, the Fish Tales Tent with some of the best local story-tellers and lots of fun for children with bouncy castles, face-painting, crazy theatre and more.

Mousehole Christmas Lights

12 December – 02 January

Mousehole Christmas lights are a must stay if you are staying in December. With floating displays of lights in the harbour and around the streets that are filled with the aroma of mulled wine and festive food. You’ll see a fantastic display of sea serpents, fishing boats and whales colourfully lighting up one of Cornwall’s most welcoming harbours. Take a stroll and amble into the local gift shops and enjoy a bite to eat and a drink in one of many restaurants, cafes or pubs to choose from.
