We’ve been hosting weddings at Penventon for over 60 years, and in that time we’ve learnt a lot about planning weddings, from intimate ceremonies to large wedding parties, and everything in between. Nestled in the heart of Cornwall our 63 bedroom Georgian manor hotel is the perfect backdrop for your special day. We’re an award-winning Cornwall wedding venue with 3 exclusive event spaces, a dedicated wedding coordinator, and accommodation for the night before and after your day.
1. Our Historic Wedding Venue
Built over a century ago, the Penventon exudes timeless elegance and charm. The classic Georgian architecture and beautiful gardens offer a picturesque setting that will make your wedding day truly unforgettable.
2. Event Spaces for Every Celebration
Whether you’re planning a cosy, intimate ceremony or a grand celebration with up to 150 day guests, we offer three distinct event spaces to suit your needs. Each room is designed to provide a beautiful and functional setting for your special day, ensuring your wedding is as unique as your love story.
The Grand Ballroom: Our largest event suite for up to 150 day guests complete with a dance floor and private bar, and can hold up to 250 guests for the evening.
The Lady Edith: Our self-contained event space for up to 45 reception guests, and 100 evening guests. The suite offers a private bar, dance floor, and adjoining room.
The Venetian: Our smallest event space is cosy and full of Venetian elegance. With a capacity up to 30 guests, it’s the perfect choice for an intimate wedding.
