Secret 8 – Supporting our Local Heroes
Here at the Penventon Park Hotel we love to support and give back to our wonderful community. Throughout 2019 we are celebrating Local Community Heroes each month by donating 50p from this weekly changing menu and from our other favourite dishes with the aim of raising £10,000 for these fantastic causes. Through April we are supporting the incredible St Petroc’s who helps hundreds of people in Cornwall who find themselves homeless each year in the hope that one day with the support from others, they can end homelessness in Cornwall.
Secret 9 – The Bridal Suite at the Penventon Park Hotel
Looking for somewhere special for the big day? The Penventon Park Hotel is the wedding venue that you’ve been searching for; a unique and grand wedding venue in Cornwall. Here’s a little snapshot of our beautiful Bridal Suite, complete with a rainforest shower, roll top bath and a mini bar full of champagne and Cornish goodies – a complimentary gift from us to you, to enjoy on your special day. With a modern contemporary style, the room still holds our Penventon favourites, such as the old skool telephone and Roberts radio.
Secret 10 – Cornwall’s Largest Selection of Gins
Did you know that The Penventon Hotel has Cornwall’s largest selection of gins? We have 160 different types of gins that are available at our theatrical Copper Bar. If you aren’t sure what type of gin to enjoy, then try out our Gin tasting boards that offer a selection of different flavours, or alternatively, give our gin wheel a spin!
Secret 11 – Bespoke Artisan Décor
If you look closely then you will spot our incredible copper, artisan steam punk lamp in our restaurant. A stand out piece, this bespoke lamp is a paying tribute to the copper mining industries and has been created by a local Cornish artist specially for our restaurant. Escape the ordinary when you visit and enjoy a award-winning meal amongst a glamourous Georgian setting.
Our restaurant oozes sophistication with the many incredible details – all you have to do is look around to notice the many fascinating pieces that have been collected from all over the world.
Secret 12 – Wanderlust Theme Room
Those that stay with us at our hotel are consumed in wanderlust and we believe that travel and adventure is one of the very important factors in life. Full of character and style our Wanderlust Room has been carefully designed for the step back in time traveller, with Sanderson trunk wallpaper, a Roberts Radio and a retro telephone.
You can enjoy one of our more spacious rooms that feature a comfortable sitting area perfect to kick back and relax. Some of our Superior Suites boast double doors leading on to a patio terrace with a luxury mini bar trunk, ideal for guest with dogs or those looking to enjoy the outdoors with a cream tea or a sundowner.
Secret 13 – The Penventon Park Hotel Spa
Relax and be spoilt in our Penventon Park Hotel Spa, open to both hotel residents and day visitors. Historically known as the Aphrodite Spa, the décor is inspired by traditional Greece and includes an indoor heated pool, a jacuzzi, a traditional finish infrared sauna, treatment rooms and a gym. Over 50 years, guests have enjoyed relaxing in the spa located in the heart of Redruth. Secret 14 – Mini Bar Leather Trunks
