Lady Edith Suite

Named after Lady Edith Carkeek who owned the Penventon during the 1920’s, this suite was created in her honour. Self-contained, this 2 room suite consists of a seating area and a dance floor, separated by an arch way.

Decorated in the original style, with Italian tapestries, marbles and classic Venetian furniture and chairs, this room is a slightly smaller yet private suite to hold your wedding celebration.

A recent bride at the Penventon commented that the room is “elegant and intimate and was very romantic for us”. 35-60 people can be accommodated comfortably for a full silver service menu or carved buffet and up to 120 people for an evening dance.

The room is popular for those looking for a smaller reception and has a dance floor and a private bar for your guests.
