Welcome to the 36th Duchy Marathon, in the year that the UK hosts the Olympics!

The Duchy Marathon is Britain’s second longest established marathon, it was first run in 1977 and is steeped in history.

The Penventon Park Hotel has enjoyed a long relationship with the Cornwall Athletic Club and continues to be the main sponsor and headquarters of this event.

The race date is Sunday 4 March 2012, starting at 10.30am. The race start’s and finishes here at the Penventon Park Hotel, if you are travelling from outside the county, why not consider taking advantage of one of our Spring Marathon breaks ideal for Runners, families and friends, and of course not forgetting our popular pre race Saturday evening Pasta Party.
