Injectable products – ‘Botox’ ‘Bocouture’ and ‘Xeomin’ are unique, registered trademarks of Allergan and Merz Pharma (respectively) they are the brand name for Botulinum Type ‘A’ toxin, a purified protein that has been in use in the medical industry for years and is the world’s best known injectable.
Injected in highly diluted doses to specific areas of the face it temporarily blocks the nerve impulses to the muscles helping them to relax, and when used on the face it stops muscular contractions that create lines and wrinkles over time. The relaxation of the muscles, enable the skin to relax and lines to smooth away. Untreated facial muscles contract normally, allowing normal facial expression to be unaffected.
A popular treatment that will reduce the appearance of wrinkles, or lines on the forehead, between the brows and around the eyes. The cost of treatment depends on (a) the type of wrinkles being treated and (b) gender – men generally require more product than women.

Note: For men there will be a surcharge of £20 for 1 area and £40 for 2 areas. This is due to the higher dosages of botox that are required.
